Natural moss is included separately rather than pre-installed in the enclosure. This allows you to place it where you want it, inspect it before use, and care for it appropriately. Moss may vary naturally in color, density, texture, and shape. A separate moss care/use label is included with the moss package.
As with any natural material in a live enclosure, inspect regularly and remove or replace if it dries out excessively, breaks down, molds, or no longer suits your setup.
